Best Random Purchase Ever

So I was hanging out with Kourtney and Becca tonight and I wandered into the clearance summer toy aisle... danger ground my friends. As I scanned the shelves my eye flew on the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. A 5 dollar automatic bubble machine 25% off the sticker price. Immediately I decided it had to be bought and for the next 30 minutes I went through the valley of guilt and up the mountain of euphoria to reach the summit of satisfaction. Aaron might come around to the idea of a bubble machine in the shower eventually... and by eventually I mean he is still shaking his head at me in disbelief :)

Bubble Machine!

A Billion Bubbles. I couldn't be happier.

Premium. Only the best gas for my machine :)

they really package these well

and so much thought went into the packaging :)

Almost ready to turn on...

opening the bubbles

this is his new home

Showers are going to be sooo fun now!!!!

:)
I'm never going to have a grumpy morning again :)

P.S. Aaron wanted me to EMPHASIZE how much he DID NOT want this device of joy to be in our home, but I think he is warming up to it . He loves me :)

Fall Fun!

I am so ready for fall! Not only is it my favorite time of year but it is associated with so many other great things. Cider, pumpkins, pretty leaves, sweaters, snuggling, and lots and lots of chili :) It is a great time of year and gets us all thinking about Halloween and Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm most excited about decorations though. Aaron thinks I'm crazy but I am super excited about dressing up our home for the seasons and holidays. This is my first attempt at fall.

lovely little candles I picked up from CVS for 1 dollar. I love extra bucks.

some apples my Dad brought me from church.

In a cute basket that I have the full intention of turning into a planter of some sort.

my tools

little signs I got for 50 since each from the antique store

2 dollar door sign from the same shop.

cutest scarecrow thing I've ever seen. now it is going to live on my table for only 3 dollars :)

baby food jar and some hemp. It is kinda fallish... okay maybe I'm trying to hard.

Step one- hot glue ruler

Step two- attach to door sign

Step three- glue on baby signs to ruler
new and improved fall door sign!

I love making stuff.

Mommy's Birthday Surprise!

My mom's birthday was this past Monday, the 12th. For her present Aaron and I decided to make her a cake. Cakes are kinda our thing lately. Anywho we decided to make her cake a ladybug. Mom loves ladybugs. We figured she love them more if she could eat them :)
